Thrifted Fall Finds I’m Obsessed With Right Now

Okay, so you know how sometimes you walk into a thrift store with zero expectations, and then suddenly you’re a fashion historian, a stylist, and maybe even a cowboy? That was me last week. I was just popping in “to look” (famous last words), and I somehow walked out with quite a few very different, very fall-core pieces that are begging for their moment.

Let’s talk about them, because they deserve their own blog post (and also because my husband can only fake enthusiasm for corduroy jackets for so long).

The Blue Corduroy Jacket That Basically Chose Me

Picture this: a Roxy brand, light blue corduroy jacket with fluffy white trim. She looks like a jean jacket, but warmer, sassier, and maybe a little Y2K revival. Honestly, she feels like something I’d wear to a coffee shop with my laptop, ordering an overpriced drink I didn’t need, pretending to be productive.

Basically, the jacket is giving “effortlessly put together” while I am, in reality, spiraling about ... everything.

The Earthy Brown Turtleneck That Goes With Everything

This little gem has button details on the sleeves, which is exactly the kind of tiny feature that makes me whisper, yes, I need you. The color is this rich, earthy brown that feels like drinking hot cocoa while watching Gilmore Girls reruns.

The Mystery Vest (Granola Girl Meets Western?)

So here’s where things get interesting. I found this cream vest with a brown snowy mountain + tree design on it. I'm pretty sure it's not vintage, I don’t know if it’s granola chic or western-core, but I do know it’s adorable. It’s giving me “I hike but also carry snacks in my backpack” energy.

The Pink Teddy Jacket I’m Still Unsure About?

Forever 21, new with tags, bubblegum pink teddy bear jacket. Do I love it? Do I look like a marshmallow Peep? Both could be true. Was this a case of thrift store hypnosis? Should I keep it?!

The Cutest Vintage US Airways Hat

This little gem honestly made me laugh when I first saw it. A corduroy vintage US Airways cap? Adorable. Unexpected. Retro in a very “my grandpa has great style and doesn't even know it” way. (He worked for TWA though so I could never let him see this!) It has that old-school ball cap fit that sits just right, and the corduroy fabric is clearly somethin I'm not able to pass on.

The Cowboy Boots of My Dreams

Okay, these boots deserve a standing ovation. Perfect size. Barely worn. Rich brown leather. JB Dillon brand (a.k.a. not exaclty cheap). And the kicker? $25. That’s thrift gods smiling down upon me pricing!! I usually have a hard no on secondhand shoes, but these were the exception that broke the rule ... and my rule is still texting me asking what went wrong.

Books, Books, & More Books!

You know I wasn’t walking past the book section without at least flipping through. And what do I find? Two Lucy Score books ... Fall Into Temptation and No More Secrets. I've been craving a cozy autumn romance, and these seem like just the thing to curl up with when the weather starts actually cooperating.

Honestly, I’m a sucker for small-town drama, unresolved tension, and characters who probably own flannel. Here’s hoping Lucy delivers on all fronts.

Wrapping It Up Like a Cozy Scarf

So that’s my little thrift haul: one corduroy dream jacket, one perfect turtleneck, a granola-western mystery vest, and the cowboy boots of my dreams. Honestly, half the fun of thrifting is figuring out how to style pieces that don’t immediately “go” together. It’s chaotic, but in a good way. It's like finding a new favorite song on shuffle (anyone else miss their iPod Nano?).

Now tell me: which piece would you actually wear? And more importantly, what bottoms do we think go best with the blue jacket + brown turtleneck duo? Help me out in the comments because my Pinterest board is lying to me, and jeans make me sad sometimes.
