Christmas Haul of an Old Woman in Her 30's

So maybe I'm not actually an old woman yet, but I definitely self-identify as one.

I am 34, I go to bed early on purpose, I get excited about household items, and nothing brings me more joy than something practical that is also very pretty. This year’s Christmas gifts truly confirmed what I already knew about myself. My taste has officially crossed into grandma territory, and honestly? I am loving it!

Ready for a grateful, slightly silly roundup of things that made me very happy and would also look perfectly at home in a sunlit kitchen owned by a woman named Martha?!

Vintage Magnolia Stoneware Crock with Lid

This was a dream gift. A literal dream. I have been admiring stoneware crocks forever, and this Magnolia one feels timeless in the best way. Heavy, sturdy, and beautiful enough to leave out on the counter at all times. I do not even care what ends up living inside it yet. I just LOVE looking at it.

The Prettiest Floral Tote Bag with Beading

This tote is so pretty it almost feels wrong to use it for everyday things, but I absolutely will. Floral, delicate, and beaded in a way that feels vintage without being fragile. It gives farmer’s market, bookstore, and wandering around town energy. I am obsessed. I want to say it came from Ross or Marshalls.

Delicate Gold and Floral French Pins & Claw Clips

Hair accessories are one of my favorite little luxuries, especially when they feel feminine and intentional. These gold and floral French pins and claw clips are simple, elegant, and make me feel put together even when I am absolutely not.

Also very on brand for an old woman in her 30s who loves a low bun. Just give me a sec to figure out how to use a French pin ...

Embroidery Stitch Book

One of my favorite gifts this year was the embroidery stitch book from Under the Garden Moon.

It is beautiful, thoughtful, and makes me want to sit at a table with a cup of tea and learn something slowly, which feels very aligned with my current stage of life. If you love nostalgic hobbies, heirloom vibes, or just appreciating pretty books, this one is such a gem. I can't wait to cover everything in little hearts and flowers!

Floral Sheet Sets from Boscov’s

Nothing fancy here, and I mean that in the best way. These are microfiber because my husband runs hot and sweats at night, but they are still so elegant and pretty.

Soft, comfortable, practical, and floral. I truly believe sheets can be both functional and charming, and these absolutely are.

Pixie Pain Relief Heat Belt

If this does not scream 30-something grandma energy, I do not know what does.

This pain relief heat belt is the prettiest emerald green, and I cannot wait to use it. Whether it is for cramps, back pain UGH, or just general soreness, this feels like one of those gifts you don't realize how much you need until you have it.

Practical gifts forever.

Black and White Canvas Tote with My Initial

This one took me straight back to the early 2000s. A black and white canvas tote with my initial on it, and suddenly, I am remembering a time when my initial was on absolutely everything I owned.

It feels nostalgic in the best way, and I can't wait to use it to steal desserts from a summer wedding I have coming up

The Charm Bracelet of My Dreams

This one deserves a moment.

My husband surprised me with a real gold charm bracelet from Kay with our initials, and it is genuinely one of my favorite gifts I have ever received. Timeless, sentimental, and something I can wear forever. I've been wanting a gold charm bracelet since I was a little girl. I only cried a little after opening it.

Lighted Makeup Mirror

Shoutout to my mom for this one. A lighted makeup mirror in gold that is a solid 10 out of 10 because I cannot see anything anymore.

It is functional, pretty, and makes doing my makeup so much easier. If you are squinting into the bathroom mirror these days, consider this your sign.

Honorable Mentions

There were so many other little things I loved that did not need their own section, but absolutely deserve to be mentioned. The Gilmore Girls lip balm set, Bluetooth beanie, coffee mugs, and an emotional support water bottle covered in pearls!

This year’s Christmas haul may not look exciting to everyone, but it felt perfect to me. Comfortable, classic, practical, and full of charm.

If loving these things makes me an old woman in her 30s, I am fully embracing it.
